Miles: 92,506 miles This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette convertible (Stock # B8073). Extremely Rare 1970 LT-1 Corvette Convertible is a tremendously rare and desirable classic. Daytona Yellow paint and a black interior. This sought after muscle car features a 370 HP, 350 CI LT-1 engine, a 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter, Edelbrock valve covers, a race ready exhaust with side pipes/Hooker headers and more. It was one of 1,287 examples that were produced. This vehicles feel, out on the open road can only be described as legendary. Highly Desirable Model w/ Incredible Life Story. The current owner of this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has lovingly cared of it for the past 35 years, telling us that he's driven it across the entire US three times for both business and pleasure. Additionally, he used it as a daily driver for a number of years and it has always been kept in meticulous shape both mechanically and cosmetically. This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette roadster also has quite a history to it as well. It was driven in Corvettes 50th Anniversary cross- country run with the Northern California Corvette Association and it was featured in the April 2013 edition of Corvette Magazine. This is also the very ride that carried Oakland A's Hall of Fame baseball star Rickey Henderson to his number retirement day at Oakland Coliseum. Pristine Overall Condition. This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette convertible looks extremely clean both inside and out. The interior was fully restored back in 2002 and this desirable muscle car has also received ample attention recently to keep it at a very high standard. Mechanically, it still performs remarkably well with a 14.01 quarter mile at a recent CA Corvette Association event in Sacramento, which is the exact time printed in the 1970 Vette brochure 40 years ago. Given that this example is one of only 1,287 LT-1 Corvettes produced in 1970, we feel confident in saying that there is nothing else on the open market even close in overall prestige. Featured in April 2013 Corvette Magazine.
Overall, this 1970 Chevy Corvette convertible is a true collectors dream and its natural rarity only adds to this beautiful muscle cars overall charm. |
